Pelica Bundle

Get your Kettle yarns for Pelica by Rosa Pomar.

This vest kit uses a strand of Baskerville 2.0 fingering and Hythe lace held together. Mine is size 44.25” which is perfect after felting twice  I am a 36”.

MY MODIFICATIONS:
I made a few simple mods to mineto make it look like a Toast vest I have been coveting:

- No buttons/buttonholes
- moved the underarm and neck increases 8 sts over from the edge to create a visible increase line in the garter.

I decided it was a bit too wide after these photos and popped it in the washing machine for more of  a felt - so terrifying - to bring it in a bit more. I set a 15 min wash on 30 degrees and that did the job. Do this twice if needed. It is about 2 sizes smaller and where I wanted it. Fabric isn't too felted, but just the right amount to bring the garter in and keep it there.
