All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated. Skill level - intermediate. Fabric suggestions - dry oilskin, oilskin, mid - heavyweight linens, 7 - 12oz denim, wool, corduroy, cotton twills or canvas. A heavier weight cloth will result in a more structured coat. For the lining, we'd suggest using Barrier Lining if you are using oilskin. You could also use cotton voile, lightweight linen, cotton poplin, hemp/cotton, lightweight wools or a traditional slip lining.

A pleated A-line skirt with slanted pockets, side button fastenings and pleats for fullness. Soft and floaty in linen, or smart and hardy in cotton twill. Can be made lined or unlined. Fabric suggestions - linen, cotton poplin, cotton voile, cotton sanded twill, hemp blends, Tencel/linen, needlecord, 4 - 8oz denim, lightweight wool, Indian handlooms (if narrow you may have to piece). ** Please note we have now changed pattern printers. Our patterns are now printed within Europe, the pattern paper is 70gsm white (FSC® certified) and is made only 180km away from the printers. Our instructions now come in booklet format rather than A3 sheets. The paper is PEFC/01-31-126certified.
