Baskerville Dark Speckle is back with Medina Shawl!
I’ve got a new shawl for you this week, designed for Knitting Magazine‘s incredible new issue celebrating hand-dyed yarns!
Medina is inspired by sun bleached landscapes and the scents of ripe figs in a warm breeze. Simple garter lets you showcase extra special skeins of speckled yarn with a little Mediterranean flair.
A simple triangle shawl, this is perfect for beginner knitters or as a super simple project to chill out with on holiday in the sun.
I’ve created a listing on the shop to make it super simple to purchase the yarns and you can also download my pattern there too.
For those of you who have been waiting for the Baskerville Dark Speckle (named Cornucopia) it is also available for pre-order as single skeins on the listing as well. Just choose what you need from the drop down menu and I will dye up the yarns for you as soon as I can, definitely by early July.
The kit contains 3 full sized skeins of yarn:
1 x Baskerville Dark
Gotland / Exmoor Blueface / Silk
fingering weight yarn
100g = 437 yards (400 meters)
Colour A: Cornucopia
2 x Islington
SW British Bluefaced Leicester / Silk
fingering weight yarn
100 grams = 400 m • 437 yds
1 x Colour B: Voodoo
1 x Colour C: Ochre
Medina has also been released in Knitting Magazine this week, so if you’ve got the copy you can also find it inside!
