Baskerville Dawn to Dusk: Teign
Today’s spotlight from new book Baskerville – dawn to dusk is my ombré Teign wrap. This generous hug of a wrap is knit in all four colours of Baskerville – natural grey Dawn, light blue Umbra, mid-blue Eventide, and darkest Dusk.
When I was designing this I wanted it to be a calm, relaxing knit broken with small bits of simple colourwork for interest. Perfect for those beginning colourwork as the colourwork sections are quit small and easy to navigate in just 2 colours that get carried up the side in the knit on icord edging that finishes the simple stockinette.
The gentle scallop design is inspired by elegant Japanese Sashiko and Shibori scale patterns I saw while researching indigo dyeing.
Umbra will be back in stock by the end of the week so you can preorder now on the shop.

I will also have the samples from this collection to try on, yarn and copies of the book available to purchase at the Yarn Movie Premiere on the 9 October @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
To celebrate the UK premiere of this film by Una Lorenzen, the Hackney Picturehouse will be handing all its open spaces over to knitters and their creations along with having a marketplac! Pretty fab right?
Book your ticket to the premiere now and make sure you don’t miss out on all the yarn-y fun!
