KETTLE YARN CO. AT EDINBURGH YARN FESTIVAL

EYF is finally upon us next week! It is super easy to find me at Stand M2 this year. When you first get past the ticket stand head straight into the hall towards the bar, look to your left before the second entrance.

STAND M2 IN THE CONCOURSE
I am bringing the following bases:
FINGERING: Northiam, Islington, Beyul, Baskerville
DK: Northiam, Beyul, Baskerville

I've also hand dyed some new special colours for all of you attending. Don't worry if you can't make, it as I'll have all of these colours for you online as pre-orders as well!

First up for the new yarns is Beyul DK Neptune! Similar to Islington Siren Call but a titch more green, this is a colour you will truly squee over.
Rich and nuanced on this baby Yak, Silk and ethically farmed Merino base.⁣⁣Shown with my premium polished hard enamel pins - Yarnivore, Cuppa and Superpower.⁣
With gentle splashes of aqua, lemon and lime on silver, Florence channels tropical beaches and mojitos!

Left is the Noordzee shawl in the same colourway on discontinued Westminster.

Dyed on Islington, British Bluefaced Leicester/ Silk, the colours give a delicate colour shimmer across your project, like reflections on water. There are only a few skeins of this batch available, so message me to put some aside or come to the booth early.

Many of you have been asking for a speckle in DK weight and as I've not got a lot of the small-batch Baskerville in fingering weight left in stock at the moment, figured I'd give Cornucopia a go in DK.⁣ I just love the riot of juicy gold, plum, chocolate and orange speckles on the thicker strands of this glorious natural Gotland blend.

I've set these new yarns as  pre-order listings on the shop, along with the Beyul Singles Villanelle and Petrichor and will dye more after the show for any of you that can't be there. 😘

EYF DESIGNER SPOTLIGHTS

The Amber Wheat Sweater  by Sarah Shepherd is released
this week just in time for the show!  A sensuous top with draping balloon sleeves in a simple swirling lace which makes the most of Northiam DK's non-superwash Bluefaced Leicester's lustre and drape.

Sarah's collection contains a stunning shawl, hat and mitts so you can use up every last bit of your Northiam DK.

Come to our Designer Spotlight on ⁣Sarah at Edinburgh Yarn festival, so please come and say hello, meet the designer and try try on the samples Friday morning.

My second Designer Spotlight  for Edinburgh is Renée Callahan on the Saturday morning.
We'll be previewing her stunning new Midding Cardigan in small-batch Baskerville DK! Come and meet the designer and take a look at the new shades of Baskerville DK for your own Midding, to be released the following week.

I can't wait to see those of you that can make it! Please introduce yourselves and bring your finished Kettle FOs if you can. It always makes my show. 😘

@vinca56 and @mrs_m_curiosity_cabinet dropped by  Unravel with not one but THREE finished items! To the right, Mairead is wearing her Baskerville Umbra blue Walkham cardigan. Left, Meg brought her crispy delicious Ramble Mahy shawl and newly finished Belmont cardigan in Northiam Amber. MAGIC!
