LAST CHANCE – Shawl Pins & Introducing Aeolica Beanie

I am hoping to see some of you at EYF today, but if not, here are a few things for you.

Introducing my new hat design – Aeolica Beanie.

The thinner version of last year’s super chunky Aeolica, this version has been reworked with gentle colour blocking and uses two Kettle double knitting yarns – new small-batch Baskerville DK and Beyul DK. A warm hat with a doubled brim to keep your ears warm, the Aeolica Beanie is worked in a rhythmic slip-stitch pattern.

I’ve topped the hat off with a thick, juicy Beyul tassel for a bit of a change from pom poms.

You can reverse the Beyul and Baskerville if you want a lighter brim, as the silk content in the Beyul means it is a little less bouncy and creates a looser ribbing. In the prototype I used Boysenberry as the contrast.

I’ve just set the beautiful fair trade, white brass shawl pin listing to allow preorders. I’ve discovered that these are the last of the pins as my supplier will be unable to get them anymore.

I’ve brought in 3 new designs – Beetle, Moorish and Palm, which are stunning, and have brought back the Buck stick pin, along with restocking the Penanular Buck and Ewe pins.I will have a small number of these available at EYF this weekend.
