Naima Hat Kits - a new Northiam DK and Hythe kid silk design
Get ready for a jolly snow day with my new Naima hat in sumptuous Kettle Yarn Co. Northiam DK and Hythe kid silk!
In simple to knit ribbing and a textured knit and purl pattern that creates undulating rows of warmth to the brim, the pattern includes two versions - a slouchy hat and a beanie. You can choose to knit in in one strand of Northiam DK or add a strand of Hythe kid silk for an Aran weight version with extra warmth.

In the kits you get the following in your chosen colour:
Beanie - 2 skeins of Northiam DK and one skein Hythe + pdf pattern
Slouchy - 3 skeins Northiam DK and one skein Hythe + pdf pattern
Choose your preferred style - Beanie or Slouchy - from four colour combinations. Note that the slouchy requires another 50g skein of Northiam DK, so the price changes.
With a lavish double brim in these two glorious yarns held together as one strand to form a juicy aran weight, this hat will keep draughts out and ears snug in blustery weather.

I've used the Seafoam blue combination in my recently finished Nurtured sweater by Andrea Mowry, which is a real winner. Subtly blue-grey and perfect with light denim.
