Ringing in the season with TWO new Baskerville DK colours

December 07, 2018

New in shop this week is Baskerville Dark DK Nebulous.

British Gotland / Exmoor Blueface / Silk
DK weight yarn
100 g = approx. 233 m/ 255 yds

With its inversion of the light and dark fibres in the original Baskerville, this gorgeous blend is a darker, denser version of this beloved blend with the same subtle silk glimmer. Slightly more rustic and less lofty than the original Baskerville this blend plays up Gotland’s unique velvet handle. It is currently available in its deliciously natural mid grey, Nebulous.

Dawn DK in the original blend is back in stock and I’ve also dyed it in the most popular dark indigo, Dusk.

If you need some project inspiration for Baskerville DK, take a look at my previous makes. Clockwise from left:  Sourcebook Sideways PulloverAmelina /Aeolica Wristwarmers, Aeolica Beanie, and Ancasta.

Back in stock this week is the ever popular Islington L’heure Bleue, a subtle blue that will be a staple in your wardrobe. Shown above with  Beyul Brass, a lovely warm neutral in the gorgeous baby yak/silk/ ethically farmed Merino blend.

Here it is below with the other warm Beyul skeins in stock for colour reference and 2 small, ethically produced Cherry on top project bags. From left: Monks Robe, Auburn, Sacred Saffron, Brass and Steppe.

Find all in shop now!
